To me, it is very important to appreciate initiatives contributing to a healthy planet, as together we can achieve more. I have also noticed that many projects could do with some financial support. 

When you win the award, you receive:
1. financial support: you will receive financial support for your initiative of $400

2. online course: you get free access to one of my online courses, so you can expand your knowledge on how to reduce expenses by living more environmentally friendly. This course is in value of €99 (about $115)

3. social media shoutout: I will announce and promote your initiative on my social media channels, so that people from all around the world learn about it. My main channel is Twitter. 4. a trophy: you receive the hand-made folded book as you can see in the picture above

5. a digital certificate: you can share this certificate on, for example, your website and social media to communicate the appreciation your initiative has received.

Apart from my work as Global Changemaker in the field of environmental sustainability, I’m doing freelance jobs in the field of cyber security. I have earned the money for this award in these jobs.

I prefer to use Paypal, but depending on where you live, there may be other options. If nothing else works, we can always use the freelancer platform Upwork.

You will be asked whether you meet the requirements, several questions about the project, and contact details. For each question in the application process, it is indicated whether the question is optional or obligatory to fill in. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Duration: The nomination process will only take 1-2 minutes. The application process will take a little longer, but as I respect your time, I have made it as short as possible. Depending on how fast you are, I expect 20-30 min.

You will be asked a few questions about the initiative you are nominating, the contact details of the initiative's representative and your contact details. For each question in the nomination process, it is indicated whether the question is optional or obligatory to fill in. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.

Yes, you are allowed to nominate more than one project. However, for technical reasons, you will have to use a different email address each time. If you use the same email address, only the last nomination is saved.

I will assess each application based on several criteria, including impact, level of commitment, quality and sustainability of the initiative.

My plan is to announce the winner in January 2023 at the latest.

When you apply, you give your consent for me to use your contact details to contact you. You also give your consent for me to publish the name, country and website of your initiative in case you win the award. Also, when you apply or nominate someone, you give me your consent to send you my newsletter.

Yes, you can apply again next time, as long as your project contributes to the current theme of the award.
